We are very pleased to announce that the shortfilm
 PRÓMILL
by the director

Marteinn Thorsson

has been selected to take part in the 16th edition of the
Shadowline FestivalCultureGiovani

We saw the short film during our participation in the Clermont Ferrand Film Festival.

The work, which we particularly appreciate for its artistic and technical qualities fully fulfils the festival’s criteria, and is the mark of a real talent in the field of creativity. We are, furthermore, certain that the public, the specialised press and distributors present at the event will appreciate the high quality of the work.
Shadowline FestivalCultureGiovani, an international festival for film, literature, performing arts and music, organised by the Salerno City  Council  (Italy) with the contribution and support of the following bodies: the Campania Regional Council, the Provincial authority of Salerno, the Department for Entertainment of the Ministry for Cultural Goods and Activities. Other associations, foundations and private sponsors also contribute to the festival. The Festival is a member of the AFIC: Associazione Festival Italiani di Cinema.

Many international film-makers (Ken Loach, Peter Cattaneo, Kenneth Branagh, Gianni Amelio, Abbas Kiarostami and the Dardenne brothers amongst others) have transmitted their enthusiasm and experience to the large numbers of young people making up the public at the festival. Shadowline has also been a chance to show some of the new faces in European cinema, ranging from Elodie Bouchez to Chulpan Khamatova, to present upcoming directors to the Italian and International cinema markets, and to explore new frontiers of cinema - all this thanks to our many national and international partners.
