Tenderlee Motion Pictures Company has officially started pre-production for its first feature film, XL. The film is written by Marteinn Thorsson and Guðmundur Óskarsson (Bankster) and is based on a story by Thorsson who also directs. Film stars Ólafur Darri Ólafsson as an alcoholic Parliamentarian who is ordered to go into rehab by the Prime Minister but before he does, he goes on a massive bender which has disastrous consequences.

The film is produced by Ragnheidur Erlingsdottir, Ólafur Darri Ólafsson, Marteinn Thorsson and Gudmundur Óskarsson.
